MASTERCLASS ON MAREVA INJUNCTIONS
Date: 2-5.15pm, Friday 18 September 2015
This Course will give you a detailed understanding of the law and practice relating to applications for Mareva Injunctions. The Course will be delivered partly in lecture format and partly as an interactive workshop during which you will be given the opportunity to present a mock application for a Mareva Injunction.
During the Course, you will be given detailed practical guidance on the law and practice governing applications for Mareva injunctions. We will discuss the obligations owed to the Court by applicants for ex parte injunctions and will consider the consequences of a breach of those obligations. We will also consider the steps that a respondent to a Mareva injunction may take in order to have the injunction discharged.
